My parents gave me my first violin when I was two years old (so that I would leave my sister's alone), and I began my own lessons at three. Throughout my youth I sang in various choirs and was a jazz and a capella vocalist. As a result, my musical inspirations range from Mozart, Beethoven, and Ysaÿe, to Ella Fitzgerald, Chet Baker, and John Coltrane. My career has been wonderfully eclectic, allowing for exploration in a variety of genres. In addition to being a full-time classical violinist, I collaborate with bands and soloists ranging from Jazz, Indie Pop, Hip hop, Heavy Rock/Metal, and Bluegrass. I love a good jam session.

Other passions include spending time with my family, playing with dogs, anything outdoors, and finding [and eating] the World's Hottest Hot Sauces.
